What are
psychosocial rehabilitative Skills training?
Services that focus upon social, educational,
occupational, behavioral and cognitive interventions for
increasing role performance and quality of life. The
services are aimed at long term recovery and maximization

Under what circumstances
would my child benefit from these services?
We offer services to children and families who are or may
be impacted by a mental illness. Often times children
under such circumstances left untreated are missing a lot
of school, socialization becomes minimal, and possibly are
losing a lot of control they once had, many suffer from
anxiety, low self-esteem, body issues, poor social skills,
depression and anger. Children and families often have
difficulty adjusting and its implications. Our staff is
trained to assist under these circumstances.

Who is eligible?
Any person who developmentally is between the ages of
"5-23" who are or may be impacted by a mental
illness and who has Medicaid as their insurance provider.
What is a behavioral
specialist?
A person who has earned at "least" a
bachelors degree in a behavioral health field. This can
include; social work, psychology, health, the behavioral
specialist assigned becomes the primary on each case, what
this means is that they communicate between you and the
agency to ensure that you are receiving appropriate level
of services and case management. The behavioral specialist
meets with you and your children several hours a week.
During this time, the behavioral specialist will learn
about your child and will eventually provide
recommendations to be used within your home environment to
support your Childs success within treatment.
Where will the services
take place?
We are aware and understand the physical limitations, the
many appointments that you have and the difficulty getting
to yet another appointment. That is the heart of this
program to be able to provide you with services within
your own home and or within the community.
